Big Changes….well, somewhat big changes

As you may have noticed, for the last two to three months, my posts have trailed off in dramatic fashion. This has been due to a variety of reasons. Over the last two months, my workload has increased. Thats good news in the fact that I would rather be busy, than pounding the pavement in this Obama economy. You won’t see me complain about that. But alas, my blogging has suffered.

Another item that has changed over the last month and a half is a change in lifestyle. No, I’m not gay you assholes. But after many years of emulating Keith Richards, I’m making the change for the healthier. It started with running, and then, three weeks ago I started P90X. For those of you who don’t know, P90X is basically like waterboarding. I’m starting my fourth week today, so at this stage, it appears as though it won’t kill me.

I’ve also realized (in this time of high enlightenment) that The Busted Nut needs to be formed down a bit. And what I mean by that, is ‘less is more’. Not less posts, or less snarkieness, but less ‘stuff’. I’ve been threatening to change my theme now for about six months, but just haven’t been able to pull the trigger. When I started blogging, I wanted to be the biggest, baddest, blog on the hill. I crammed as much shit as I could on the home page. Now I’m realizing, kinda hard to keep up with it when life nails your balls to the deck. So, I’m going to drop alot of the fluff, and go for more substance.

So, in the next few days, The Busted Nut will change themes, and go for more substance. This includes adding something I am very excited about, my own political cartoons. Thats right. I’m artsy fartsy to a degree, and I have a hankering to add some different skills to the layout. I don’t know how often, maybe once a week, but I hope to get started this month.

All that said, thanks for staying tuned while I make these changes. I think you will appreciate and enjoy them. And no, I will not be getting rid of the tattooed girls with guns. I do have my standards thank you very much!

President Barack Obama will honor NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson and the 11 other Chase drivers from last year in a White House ceremony on Wednesday – but nearly half of the 2010 playoff contenders won’t be there.

NASCAR said Thursday that five drivers – Greg Biffle, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart – will not be attending the White House visit due to “schedule conflicts.”

In case anyone is counting, $75,000 rewarded to a midget is about $2083.00 per inch. Or $25,000.00 per foot. Not a bad payday, even though, after being at Starbucks many times, I have no idea how she would have managed using a step ladder. Seriously? Up, down, up, down, up, down. You for got the creamer. Down, up.

The Starbucks Coffee Company has paid $75,000 to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to settle a lawsuit for unlawfully denying a reasonable accommodation to a woman with dwarfism, according to a press release. The lawsuit was filed by the commission on behalf of Elsa Sallard, who claimed she was fired from her job as a barista because she is a dwarf.

According to a press release from the commission, Sallard told employers during a training that she could use a stool or stepladder to do her job. “The manager at the El Paso Starbucks location disregarded Sallard’s request,” the release said. “On the same day that Sallard requested the accommodation, Starbucks terminated her employment, claiming that she would pose a ‘danger’ to customers and employees.”

WASHINGTON — President Obama is barnstorming the heartland to boost US jobs in a taxpayer-financed luxury bus the government had custom built — in Canada, The Post has learned.

The $1.1 million vehicle, one of two that Quebec-based Prevost sold the government, has been tricked out by the Secret Service with state-of-the-art security features and creature comforts. It’s a VIP H3-45 model, the company’s top of the line, and is used by major traveling rock bands.

“That’s the more luxurious model,” Christine Garant of Prevost told The Post.

Good Lord…someone should be fired for this, I just can’t seem to tell where the buck stops in this organization.

Loser class blames government…not parents…go figure

The smoke is beginning to clear after the UK riots, and what was once assumed to be a working class, poor uprising, has now been determined to be a ‘free for all’ implemented by the loser class. And as evidenced by the story below, the loser class’s sense of responsibility is a learned trait.

The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, was one of the very few defendants to walk free from court, after receiving a nine month referral order for burglary and violent disorder. His mother, sitting beside the boy’s father, wiped tears from her eyes as the court was told she handed him in after seeing wanted photos of her son being circulated by Greater Manchester Police. She is on benefits, does not live with the boy’s father and has 10 other children, the court heard. Outside court she told reporters she was ”ashamed” of her son. ”I didn’t know he was in the riot. I went out to look for him. It’s wrong I’m ashamed of him,” she said. But the woman also suggested her son was not entirely at fault, when asked who she blamed for the looting. ”The government,” she replied, her son by her side, adding: ”There is f*** all for them to do.”

I would hate to be the first to tell this ‘mom’, and I use that word lightly, but its not the government’s responsibility to raise her children…all ten of them. Its her responsibility despite what the government would have you believe. If the government is responsible for any of this madness, it is creating a moocher class in the first place. A class of people that live and die by what the government can take from one and give to another.

Someone needs to tell this woman that she should have spent more time raising the kids she had than producing more. Ten children? Really? Its called a condom mom…if you can’t get off your back, educate yourself to what they are and demand that the next guy wears one.

No. The party ultimately responsible here are the parents. But once again, bad parenting results in bad kids, and devoid of the assumption of responsibility, there will always be a loser class.

Obamacare: UNCONSTITUTIONAL
